Plane Savers - Make her fly again!

In late 2019 Mikey McBryan from Buffalo Airways, Yellowknife, Canada began the resurrection of a Douglas DC-3C, C/N 12253, C-FDTD which had been sitting at Saint-Hubert Airport, Québec for about 20 years. It is a veteran of the Normandy landings. The École nationale d'aérotechnique (ENA) helped the team of volunteers during the restoration project. After a sprint of about 6 month they managed get the plane into a flying condition for its flight at D-Day 2019.
